why the hell is there no episode of Pokemon where Team Rocket actually gets away with Pikachu and gets it back to the boss and Ash and co. have to go on a quest to retrieve it like wtf IT’S RIGHT THERE.

IF pokemon ever ends it’s totally just going to end with ash losing yet another pokemon league and standing on the edge of a cliffside with the sun setting, right after he got through a brief depression about losing and thinking about “giving up his dream to become a pokemon master”, then he’ll grow a slight smile as pikachu crawls up on his shoulder and the narrator will say
“no matter how many failures may lay behind ash, he knows that he can never give up and that his quest to become pokemon master has just begun and it’s not so much the destinaton, but the journey and friends he’s made along the way. but if there’s one thing Ash knows is that there’ll always be a new adventure lying over the horizon.

Guys, remember when Brock totally made a heel faced turn in one episode about something he spent 12 seasons bitching about.
He kept saying he wanted to be a Pokemon breeder (WHATEVER THE HELL THAT WAS) and then he was all like lolnope, I’mma be a doctor instead, peace out, Ash. And then he left and never got a girlfriend either and Brock’s whole life is a failure just like everyone’s in that show. But I mean his dad was a deadbeat crackhead so like..
I put I’m Giving Santa a Pikachu This Christmas on my dad’s iPod and now he hears it on shuffle and he’s so disturbed, and now I replayed the whole album on YouTube and whenever I hear it, I like piss myself laughing and can’t stop for three days.
Um, I’m pretty sure that Pikachu would kick PETA’s ass if it heard them dissing Ash like that.
My sister used to wake me up bawling her eyes out at 3 AM from watching my old Pokemon cassette and the episode where Pikachu leaves I was like CHILL, IT COMES CRYING BACK TO ASH IN LITERALLY 5 SECONDS.

Little does she know that the episode was too much of an emotional rollercoaster for me to handle as a child so I’d turn off the cassette after the first two episodes because the third was Pikachu’s Goodbye and GOD DAMMIT MY 5-YEAR-OLD FEELINGS COULDN’T TAKE IT EVEN THOUGH IK IT CAME BACK.
